Current Research

My interests concern the application of new technologies in every day life: how can we improve the well-being of people using new objects that technology gives us, for example: Virtual Reality Environment or Eye Tracking study?. For my thesis project I’m interested in Virtual Reality Environment. It has been showed that this type of technology worked for many types of pain, real or induced, or during painful medical procedures. The aim of my research is to discover if a full immersion environment can decrease the dental pain during a dental surgery.
