Artisans 4.0 project addressed the issue of the innovation of work processes in the construction sector. In collaboration with UPA Servizi Logistici ed Immobiliari S.R.L., the HTlab team has structured a series of activities to facilitate the process in a community of local artisan companies. The team carried out a double research activity which guided the subsequent training activity.
On the one hand, the team studied the user experience of a series of innovative technological applications (augmented and virtual reality) for managing work within the construction site. This analysis allowed the identification of the applications during the training meetings.
On the other hand, the team explored the habits of use of technologies within the companies involved, with particular attention to the motivational and attitudinal aspects of their introduction and use. To this end, specific tools have been prepared, such as ad hoc questionnaires and in-depth interviews with the artisans participating in the project.
Subsequently, the team integrated the results obtained from the research activities and, on their basis, provided training sessions to provide concrete and cutting-edge knowledge on the technological applications available.
