HTLAB
IN A NUTSHELL
Welcome to the official website of the Human Technology Lab (HTLab), founded in 2001 by Luciano Gamberini and Anna Spagnolli.
Our headquarter is located at the University of Padova, one of the oldest universities in the world, dating back to 1222. HTLab is situated within the Department of General Psychology, where we have state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment that enable us to conduct high-level scientific work and educate our graduate and postgraduate students.
Our laboratory is an active member of the HIT (Human Inspired Technology) Research Centre (University of Padova), ACM SIGCHI Italy (Special Interest Group on Human-Computer Interaction), and IACR (International Association for Cybertherapy and Rehabilitation).
Thanks to these valuable collaborations, we actively participate in numerous research projects, with a particular focus on the fields of information and communication technologies and health. We are also engaged in international programs such as the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program.
Furthermore, HTLab provides specialized services to businesses and public administrations in the fields of technological design, usability, user experience, and accessibility assessment.
Our experience and expertise enable us to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients. We are firmly committed to promoting scientific and technological excellence, contributing to the advancement and well-being of society.
